This is my tried and true go to sushi restaurant. They always seem to hit the mark. The fish is fresh and the rolls are made well. My favorites are the SUMO and ALASKAN ROLLS. the sumo is fresh and has a tangy mustardy sauce. The Alaskan is baked salmon with a mayo sauce. They are so different and equally delicious! The CUCUMBER SALAD is always perfectly crisp and flavorful. The MUSCLES are saucy and delicious. Can't go wrong with either of these sides.

Devoured this spot to celebrate my cousins engagement. It was such a blessing to find an open spot with plenty of parking across the street in Glendale. Offerings were plentiful and the portions were abundant. This place feels like home. The staff were all so friendly and helpful and the quality food they provided were awesome :)

Our happy hour selections came out fast and were seated right away. And we dined in almost happy hour cut off time. The classic rolls came tasting really good. The Premium rolls were also good, but we were already getting full by the time it came out to the table. I mostly enjoyed the broiled mussels and spicy Tuna crispy rice. For the portions and price I would dine in again. The place on a mid week was not too busy, so we really enjoyed our meal on calm setting. Im pretty sure weekends would be busy and packed. Service was efficient, fast, and friendly. The kind waitress let us know that we can also order all day happy hour menu To Go. What?! So many deals, not sure how long. But Thanks so much.

After an early evening movie at The Lamelle, we wanted something quick and healthy. Octopus was a quick 5 minute walk and still open until 10:30 pm. The good thing was that they had a Reverse Happy Hour...Basically their regular happy hour menu but from 8 pm to closing. The service was quick and very friendly. The chicken karaage was probably some of the best I've had in a long time. They marinated the chicken for a long time and the crunchy breading was excellent. The tofu salad had a touch too much dressing but still really good. Bake mussels and baked Alaskan roll were really, really good as well. Lastly, the salmon collar was big and meaty. I think the reverse Happy Hour was great and we probably won't visit outside of Happy Hour dining. There were a lot to choose from starters to regular rolls to premium rolls. Bathroom 10/10 Ambiance 9/10 Service 10/10 Good 9/10 Value 10/10 Will I Return? Yes!

One of the few decent sushi restaurants near Glendale area. Enrico was friendly and attentive! Got few rolls and they all tasted fresh and great. The furikake fries had a perfect crunch and the cold tofu appetizer was light and refreshing! Love the BOGO $1 for large beer during happy hour along with other cool deals. Few dollars off rolls is not the best deal but better than nothing. Plenty of seating available inside. Structure parking right in front of the restaurant.

I love Octopus restaurant and I've been a frequent guest at the Burbank location. I love their lunch specials. This Glendale location is also a favorite place for me to visit when I meet friends who live nearby. We love the bento selections during lunchtime for only $15.50. This is a complete meal with a choice of 2 Items served with edamame, miso soup, salad, gyoza dumplings, and rice. The choices of two items include: - Chicken Teriyaki - Yakiniku Pork - Steak Teriyaki (+1.50) - Salmon Teriyaki (+1.50) - Shrimp & Vegetable Tempura - Tatsuta Age Chicken - Spicy Chicken - Cheese Pork Cutlet - California Roll - Spicy Tuna Roll - Vegetable Roll - Assorted Sashimi (+2) 2 Tuna / 2 Salmon / 2 Albacore Sashimi The service is fast but the only issue I have here is with the servers not being able to converse well in English which causes a problem with the order and when you need something from them. However, it won't stop me from coming here as I really love their food.

First time coming here with my wife as this is her and her sister's goto place for Bento Box!! The wait staff were very friendly. They greeted us and sat down with the family, and instantly assisted us on how to pull up their digital menu. We happen to be there at happy hour. So most of the starters came with discounas well as main dishes. My wife ordered the Bento box. My daughter ordered the kids Bento box. And I ordered a spicy crunchy tuna roll with jalapenos. The food was excellent. The service was mirrored and we all left full and planning my next visit.

When you're tired of Thanksgiving food, or just craving bomb sushi, then I've got the place for you! Octopus (located in Glendale & Burbank) is a Japanese restaurant serving up fresh seafood, meats, and produce. It's a casual and fun vibe, but the dishes are high end (I mean look at the presentation of this Yellowtail Sashimi). I went for happy hour and here's everything I enjoyed (cost included) : Yellowtail Sashimi - $12.95 Tempura Roll - $8.95 Lychee Breeze Cocktail - $13.95 for a carafe Tonkotsu Ramen - $13.95 Garlic Chili Edamame - $4.50 I loved all of the flavors that were incorporated into each dish. They charge an additional 25 cents to add spice to the ramen and it was just what the pork broth needed. Overall, it was a nice experience and I will definitely be back
